Terms of Service.

Reborn is operated by [legal company name], registered in Israel under number [company number].

Reborn is a marketplace. The contract of sale for an item is between the buyer and the seller; we are not the seller and we do not own what is listed. What we take responsibility for is the service itself: checking listings before publication, keeping identities separate, and operating the platform as described.

You must be 18 or over. One person, one account. You are responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping your password to yourself.

You do not have to use your real name. The username we generate is yours to keep or to change, and nothing on Reborn requires you to identify yourself to another member.

You may list an item only if you own it and are entitled to sell it, and your listing must describe it honestly — including its faults. Photographs must be of the actual item, taken by you.

Reborn can suggest the details of a listing from its photos. Those suggestions are a convenience, not a statement by Reborn about your item: you check them, and by publishing you confirm that what the listing says is accurate.

A free account may hold 10 active listings at a time. A listing stays visible for 14 days, after which it is marked expired and can be relisted.

Counterfeit or replica goods. Stolen goods. Anything whose sale is restricted under Israeli law, including weapons, medicines and regulated substances. Items you do not have. Anything whose purpose is to move the transaction off Reborn.

Listings may not contain phone numbers, email addresses, messaging handles, social media accounts or links intended to let two members contact each other directly. This is not a formality: it is the mechanism that protects both sides, and it is enforced automatically.

Every listing is checked automatically before it is published, as described in clause 4 of the Privacy Policy. A listing may be published, held for a person to look at, returned to you with the reasons, or refused.

If your listing is held or refused you are told why, and you may ask for a person to review that decision. We will not remove a listing without telling you the reason.

The “Reborn Verified” mark means a listing passed this check. It is not a guarantee of authenticity, and it is not a valuation.

Pairs above the premium threshold are subject to authentication by an independent authenticator after purchase and before shipping. A pair that fails is not shipped, the buyer is refunded in full, and the listing is removed.

This service is not yet operating, because it is part of the checkout described in clause 7. Until it is, the authentication status shown on a listing reflects what the seller has provided and what our own checks found, and nothing more.

Reborn is not currently processing payments. Checkout, escrow and locker delivery are not open, and no item on Reborn can be bought through the platform today. Listing and browsing are open, and free.

When checkout opens: listing will remain free, and the buyer will pay a single fee shown on the listing and unchanged at checkout, between 9% and 14% depending on the price, which covers the checking, the escrow, the authentication and the shipping. Payment will be held by Reborn until the item reaches the buyer, and released to the seller afterwards.

These terms will be updated before any of that begins, and you will be told.

Answer questions about your items honestly. Do not use Reborn to harass anyone, to advertise something else, or to attempt to obtain another member’s personal details.

Attempting to discover who another member is, or to contact them outside Reborn without their agreement, is a serious breach of these terms and of the reason the platform exists.

We may remove a listing or suspend an account that breaks these terms. Except where the breach is serious or unlawful, we will tell you first and give you a chance to fix it. You may close your account at any time.

We are responsible for providing the service described here with reasonable skill and care. We are not a party to the sale, and we do not warrant the quality, legality or authenticity of an item listed by a member.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Israeli law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

These terms are governed by Israeli law, and the competent courts of [city] have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, this does not remove the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live.

Before going to court, please write to us. Most disputes are a misunderstanding that a person can resolve in a day.

We may change these terms. Where a change materially affects you, we will tell you in the app before it takes effect, and you may close your account if you do not accept it.
