This page is short, and it is short because there is very little to report. Reborn sets only the cookies it cannot work without, runs no analytics, and loads no third-party tracking of any kind.

1.What we do not do

There are no advertising cookies on Reborn. There is no analytics script — not Google Analytics, not a lightweight alternative, none. No social network receives a pixel when you open a page. Nothing here follows you to another site, because there is nothing here that could.

This is also why you have not been shown a consent banner. Consent is required for storage that is not strictly necessary, and we do not use any.

2.The cookies we set

Your session (sb-…-auth-token, sometimes split into several parts). Set when you sign in, so that you stay signed in and our server can show you your own pages. It is what identifies you to us. It lasts until you sign out, at most 400 days.

Signing in (sb-…-auth-token-code-verifier). Exists only between asking for a sign-in link and opening it, so that the link works in your browser and nobody else’s.

Your language (reborn.locale). Only if you change language, so that pages arrive in the language you chose. Kept for a year.

3.What your browser keeps without sending it

Your appearance setting. Whether you chose light, dark, or to follow your system. One word in local storage, never sent to us.

The opening animation. In the app on your home screen, a note that it has already played, so that it plays once each time you open the app rather than on every page. Erased when the app closes.

4.Other companies

Profile pictures are drawn by DiceBear. Your browser asks them for the picture, which tells them your IP address, as loading anything from any website does. They set no cookie and learn nothing else about you.

5.Removing them

Signing out removes the session. Clearing site data for Reborn in your browser’s settings removes everything on this page, and costs you nothing beyond having to sign in again.

6.If this changes

Any new cookie will be listed here, with its name and purpose, before it is set. If one is ever not strictly necessary, you will be asked first, with refusing as easy as accepting.

What we can commit to now is the part that is a choice rather than a technical necessity: no advertising, no tracking, no selling of data. The Privacy Policy sets out everything we do hold.
